Back in the past
The adventure begins in front of the Tourist Office, on the Place d'Armes. A QR code allows us to open the first pocket of the bag containing our game instructions. Inside, a letter immediately immerses us in the atmosphere:
“1940 – Neuf-Brisach is occupied by the Germans. During the count of the soldiers, it turns out that Commander Dupont, a professional musician, is missing. Being a leading light in the garrison, the Germans absolutely want to find him before he can warn the other regiments of the capture of the city. The Kaiser summons you to the Place d'Armes and orders you to find him as quickly as possible, otherwise you will be taken to the firing squad as traitors.”
We quickly get caught up in the plot. What's really handy is that each enigma sheet has clues on the back and even the answer in the form of a QR code. So there's no risk of getting stuck at any stage!
Our feedback
We explored almost ¾ of the city and its fortifications, all in a fun and light way. It took us two good hours to complete this game and find out where the commander is.
Riddles, puzzles, mazes, messages to decode… so many challenges that we have taken up on our way. All game elements are directly in the bag. It is therefore possible to embark on the adventure whatever the weather, even in winter!
The game is not necessarily suitable for small children. We recommend this activity from 12 years old, and always accompanied by an adult. The best is to be a small group of 4 to 6 people, to pool all the thoughts.
